Depends which generation you're referring to.

There are many people in Louisiana that are under the radar of a "poll".

I'm surprised the average time spent socializing isn't higher.

It has to be related to the heat. I'm quite active in fall and winter but this time of year I don't want to go outside at all.

has a lot to do with it.
Louisianians work as hard or harder than anybody, but we cant keep it up for as long because of the heat. It tires you out, and yes, makes you feel lazy. That doesnt mean you are, just the weather gets to you that way.

Got a great idea now that it's August, let's let someone from North Dakota come down and mow my lawn this weekend and see how that works out, I'm 52 so I'll give em a break, send down a 42 year old.

I'll pay someone from Green Bay to come cut my grass at 3pm. He's free to wear shorts and I'm sure the fire ants and mosquitoes will appreciate the easy access those shorts will give them.

30-40something Yuppies don't mow grass for the most part. They buy "condos" with lot line housing so they don't have to maintain a lawn, or... they hire a messican to mow.
