Please help!!!

Last week, Kitty Carroll, who is a licensed Master Falconer, was in Hammond for a Renaissance Fair. During her show, Anubis, her 13 year old Barbary falcon flew over some buildings during a demonstration flight. A long search was conducted using telemetry, and ultimately his body was found. He had been shot, his feet had been cut off and his equipment had been removed and tossed to the side.

Please keep your ears open for any information you may hear about this. You may hear someone bragging and showing off his grisly souvenir of falcon's feet.

There is a $5,000 reward offered for the arrest & conviction of the person(s) involved in this federal crime. More information and contact info can be found at: Please Help Anubis!!!

Update:

The US Federal Wildlife and Fisheries folks are still "investigating" as are local law enforcement people. However, as you can imagine, the killing of a falcon isn't getting too much traction with any of them.

What this will take is for someone to overhear "Bubba" bragging about killing a falcon and showing off his new souvenir or necklace of falcon's talons...Then maybe someone who overhears him can call it it and collect the reward.

What a cruel thing to do. I hope whoever did this is caught and serve time for doing such a heinous act.
