I would also say Shreveport. Alexandria has good medical care for a city its size, but even here sometimes patients are sent to Shreveport for more advanced care.

Shreveport for sure. I used to do IT work in the health-care industry, and there was no shortage of options. The Willis Knighton system is retardedly extensive, plus there's Schumpert and LSU hospital.

If you're looking for a specific kind of doc, I'm sure you can get recommendations from us.

Definitely Shreveport. You can find just about any type of physician/healthcare service you would ever need in the Shreveport/Bossier area. I can give glowing recommendations for both Willis Knighton Health Systems (especially WK PIerremont) and LSU.

No doubt about it...SHREVEPORT!! You can find just about any kind of doctor you need here, and the medical care is truly some of the best. A lot can be said about Shreveport, good and bad, but one thing is for sure...it has GREAT medical facilities!

and no matter what your situation, I've found that the doctors and medical staff in Shreveport are far friendlier and more helpful and compassionate than any other city I've lived in...including Dallas, New Orleans and West Palm Beach.
