This, and the Willow Grande ruling only conjur up the old adage "Follow the money".
All of Council need to have their financial backgrounds checked.

There is no doubt that integrity was not part of the decisions. All the black council members voted to exonerate the self-admitted. All the GOP members voted to expel her. It makes no difference, now the council has no, I say again, no confidence in the city. Was it racial? Was it political? Was it a bit of the both? One thing for certain, it wasn't honest.

The really sad part is that even though she was convicted of all these wrongdoings, she will probably be reelected next time around!
