Bpttom line...it will cost you an extra 36 bucks a year...it will be worth it for botter services like fire and police protection, and good schools.

K. What did I miss? Am I living in deja vue? That report was old news. I am struggling as to the exact date, but this was voted on in December.

Sorry if this is old news. Only just popped up in your courier-journal [I have one of those automatic e-mail news drops signed up with the courier] two days ago for me. I agree, happy to pay more $$ for better services or to at least balance the budget. Now that airport there talking about on the other hand....

Airport is in a coma. It's not dead, just in serious limbo.

Default There is an article...

In Wednesday's Neighborhood section of the Courier-Journal, there is discussion about how Oldham County will have to pay for the non-funded mandate from Congress requiring all governments throughout the United States to deal with storm water run-off. In that discussion, it appears that a $ 40-50 per household tax plus more on business could be effected to recover the absurd costs of such a bureaucratic nightmare basically caused by people sitting on the government dole needing to show they are doing something.

If this is what K.Dunn was speaking of, the OP of this thread makes sense now.

I love working for our government! It's a joy to see that we are paying over 50% of our income to pay for some form of governmental program. Oh, you don't think my number is correct? Just follow the money trail... A business's cost of doing business just to fill out the forms... what about taking 5 years to build a bridge that could be built in 2 in the 1970's. Do I need go on?
