It seems there is a problem with this.... anyone have any recommendations?

I found this on another website http://chowhound.chow.com/boards/11: I live deep in the heart of Barbecue country[Austin,Texas] and I can give a vigorous recommendation to KenTex in Shelbyville a half hour or so outside of Louisville.Succulent and fatty brisket and Pork Ribs that can hang with some of my favorite places in Central Alabama. When I travel to Kentucky once or twice a year this is the only barbecue I've found that could hang out a shingle in Texas and make good money.

Anyone else eaten there?

Pig & a Peppermint in Prospect is original Union Co. style pork bbq. I haven't yet found a good replacement for Owensboro area mutton outside of Daviess/McLean Co. Mark's Feed Stores have a very good version of bbq too.

Ditto remarks about Mark's Feed Store. Not world-class, but still darn good at very reasonable prices.
