I'll be working at the KY State Fair for a week (world's championship horse show, not carny) and may have time to have a nice
lunch on a couple of days. I've been to some great restaurants in Louisville for dinner on past visits, but never paid much attention to nice lunch spots.
Any recommendations for a nice lunch in reasonable proximity to the KY State Fairgrounds?
P.S. I know all about the former the Executive West hotel.

The Cottage Inn near the corner of Crittenden and Eastern Parkway is worthy of your consideration. Not too far from Fairgrounds, good food at a fair price.

I rather the tent with all the Kentucky based vendors... the Pork producers, Beef producers and such to eat.
