Macon-Bibb is on fire with commercial and job growth!!!

Boeing is converting its military plant in Macon to a commercial facility and creating about 200 new jobs.

“It is unprecedented,” said Macon Mayor Robert Reichert said during the announcement Thursday morning at the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce.

The converted plant will be building the fuselage for a commercial aircraft, Boeing officials said.
