Student Renting in Madison.......
Do people have any places they recommend/don't recommend to live for students in Madison as far as apartments and rental agencies go?
I recommend Goldleaf Development, they stay out of your business and are prefectly reasonable with security deposits and are well managed. I have rented from them and several friends have, all with high opinions of them.
I DO NOT recommend the Surf and Surfside apartments. The management is foul at best. The landlord is INSANE. She's forgetful and very frequent misrepresents situations. She will lose checks, lie to you, yell at you and her family will try to get up in your grill which is seemingly around constantly. The people who work for her are decent but she is by far the worst experience with management I have and most likely will ever encounter. Although, the apts were pretty nice but NOT WORTH IT!
