Any recommendations for pubs in the Camden/ Belfast areas? Taking my sister out on the town tomorrow, and wanted to take her to a few places. Thanks!

Smile pub thoughts

Hi, lovemaine...

I've never been there, but everything I've heard about The Whale's Tooth Pub in Lincolnville Beach has been very positive. I especially like that they have a nice fire when it's damp & chilly out.

Hope you're having a great visit!

Sea Dog in Camden is long gone. There is another bar there where Sea Dog used to be but they don't make beer there anymore.

Cappy's in Camden is great. Also, if you want to drive down the coast a bit, King Eider's Pub (one of my favorite local haunts) was just named the best place to have lunch in Maine in the reader's poll in the current issue of Down East.

I like both of those places. Cappy's chowder is amazing, and King Eider's crab cakes are great.
