I see more Prius on the road all the time here in Maine. Not sure what they use for tires. Potholes are the worst I have seen them in many years. Driving at night isn't great as you just can't see them.

Not really. Ride and drive rather nice. A lot quieter than Gumbo Mudders, too.

I found a set for the woods Jeep this month to go on the fancy mags I found last month.

In bad weather the Prius can park UNDER your Jeep.

I have to admit, we have a little Pontiac Sunbird that is incredible in the snow. It does have snow tires on it and that helps, but that little thing is fantastic! And I'm a Jeep girl through and through... now, admittedly, it would probably get hung up on the snowbank at the end of the driveway if the plow guy hasn't come by!

I'm not a fan of low profile tires. There is not enough sidewall to absorb shock from potholes and frost heaves. We won't even drive my wife's car on anything but highway from now until the frost heaves are gone and the pot holes are filled up. That limits us to I-95 and a few other recently repaved roads. A few years ago my daughter hit a pothole in my wife's other car running the low profile tires. It blew two tires and ruined the aluminum wheels. $800.00 to repair.
