By golly Molly, you've got it! I've always wanted people to love me for my mind, but all they ever really wanted was my body. Now I understand how women feel.

Now you've done it... you've got me singing....

"Baby face, you've got the cutest little baby face
There's not another one to take your place, baby face
My poor heart is jumpin', you sure have started somethin'
Baby face...."

you wouldn't say that if you actually HEARD me sing!
BTW, a bit of totally random trivia for a totally random thread... I actually appear on a professionally recorded (and even released!) album from the 70s by a band called Joe Byrd and the Field Hippies (I was one of the Field Hippies... and yea, you CAN pick out my voice).

I was too dirt poor (starving student) to afford it when it was released, but a student of mine was a collector of "B" albums and when he mentioned he was thinning his collection a few years ago I offhanded ask "you don't happen to have anything by Joe Byrd do you?" and you could have knocked me over with a feather when I found out he DID! And as my going-away gift (I was leaving the other Portland) he presented me with a copy.

It's a hoot... and I had someone digitize it some time back and I am not sure where the CD went now but the record is on my desk, as I am trying to figure how to best display it (album cover) and protect the precious momento of the decade that I DO indeed remember.
