Bydand, do you work for one of the local tree companies? My husband drives one of those bucket trucks. He can back it into tight corners and move it well, but always got mad at other drivers. They always think the truck can stop instantly.

I pull an enclosed car hauler trailer on a semi-regular basis. People will pass me on the Interstate, then slow down. It's even more fun in Virginia where the hills are much more intimidating, I am in a vehicle that grosses about 14,000 pounds, and they are in a 3000 pound vehicle, on cruise. They will pull in front of me as I crest a hill, trying to pick up speed. Where is the common sense??

Common sense isn't common any more. It went the way of common courtesy.

Good Point Toria! I can understand that concern and restriction on the sale, of course its not legally binding, but it meets the ethical standards of the seller.

They aren't urging legislation that all snakes be fed vegetarian, or that no one can slaughter any lamb rabbit or goat or chicken--they are saying, "in the little corner of the world that I have some control of...I don't want to contribute to the suffering of animals that have come to trust me." That sounds perfectly reasonable to me. I understand it and think there is a diffence between food and pets.

Nope, I'm an Electrician. Have had people pull out in front of me while in the bucket truck, as well as the even bigger auger truck while towing a trailer with 4 - 55' power poles on it. Sometimes you want to run one over just so the other morons will get the picture that while they do have great breaks, they don't stop or do emergency lane changes as well as a Tercel.

If common sense was really common more people would have it.

My pet peeves have to do with families that can't afford health care for their kids, or seniors up in Machias who have to shut their heat off on nights that go below zero, because they can't afford the oil, or another pet peeve is children going to bed hungry, or women who are being abused and beaten, not knowing where to turn for help. Those are my peeves.

Of course I am annoyed by some others driving skills but in comparison? I try to breathe and be charitable and avoid them.

Speaking of health care - add people showing up for work who are visibly sick. This shows they have no regard for their fellow man/woman.
