It could reasonably be argued that the other place in Island Falls was a gem in the rough. I am afraid that this place just looks rough, without the gem part. ;-)

I am not seeing anything here that even remotely looks like a gem.

I think I would hire a demolition crew for a week to clean it and haul the rubbish away. Just so I could figure out what to do next. If you needed a 2 or 3 year project, it might be a fun project.

In the past I have bought some truly rough looking properties.

The property I bought in 2016 was pretty rough, but not this rough. That property took me until 2020 to get it up to code.

There are occasionally new posters who come on this forum, on a tight budget looking for a structure that needs work. This could be the place for them.
