I always think of 'Lincoln Duncan' by Paul Simon...used to listen to it a lot growing up and whenever I hear it now it's all I can think of is Downeast Maine! With the references and such in the song, it fits very well.

Well...
With out to0oo much thought of course on the song, the first song that came to mind was the song by Rascal Flats~Mayberry.
The words simply remind me of life growing up here.

Yes that song hits home with any small town, one of my favorite by Rascal Flats
