Mollysmiles and No Klugh came out to slide with us today.
We're going again next Sunday. If you'd like to join us (please do!) please DM me for time and directions to my house. I live approximately 10 miles from the intersection of Routes 1 and 6 in Topsfield or 20 miles from the end of Rt 9 in Baileyville. Snowshoes are helpful because we have to walk a quarter mile to the gravel pit. We have another storm coming but there should be a good snowmobile trail to walk by Sunday. If you want to bring snowmobiles there are a lot of well-marked trails in the area.
Molly and J went down in the big sled. Molly was going to hold on to J but when she realized how fast that sled goes she changed her mind. That's what sparked, "Ok I lied!" at the beginning of the video.
Want to go for a ride? I videoed a ride down. The scream and (WARNING!) potty mouth are from shock over an unexpected face full of snow. We veered off the trail and into the loose snow.
No Klugh on the left, rugrat in the middle, Steve on the right.
This gives you an idea of the size of the gravel pit. That's Mollysmiles coming down the hill.
Great minds think alike, I took the Ruffians out sledding today over here as well. So nice to be able to act like a kid again under the guise of taking the knee-biters out .
