Default Single, middle-age-ish, which town?

Hello,

For a woman living on her own, would any of you regulars have an idea of whether Stocton Springs or Liberty might feel more comfortable? In terms of feeling safe, and becoming a part of a community.

Thanks, I appreciate any thoughts and advice.

Neither one. Both Stockton Springs and Liberty are VERY small towns. If you haven't been to Blue Hill, you should go there. In the end it may come down to finding the right place to live and the right living environment according to what you can afford. Blue Hill has MANY advantages not found in other areas.

I have not been to Stockton Springs yet.

I have been to Liberty. I loved it, and attempted to buy some land there [I backed out when I could not get the perc to pass]. but the area was wonderful, the folks were great, I loved that little diner.

Liberty is much larger a town than where we ended up settling. But that is okay. If you have been there and liked it, then enjoy
