Of course there are a lot of areas without a lot of illegals, that's ridiculous. Where do you currently live? Montgomery or PG, or something?

illegals are from all over the world not just mexico. Do you just not like Mexicans because illegals are British,Mexicans,Jamaicans,Africans,Chinese,Russia ns,Canadians, the list goes on. Not only Mexicans are illegals in the country so to move away from illegals you need to live in the wilderness.

90% of contemporary illegals are of Hispanic origin. Obviously gabrielred has a prejudice toward hispanics, to ask such a question. However, I too am saddened by the lack of assimilation to American culture by these immigrants. It pains me to see Spanish on such a large scale in the U.S., so I see where he's coming from in that aspect. But like Iscalder said, there's no real way to avoid it. The government has to do something for any change to occur.

The Maryland government does do something
They hand them every opportunity afforded to the tax paying citizens while not charging them (through taxes) for those services...
You want to fix a multi-billion dollar deficit MOM? Quit allowing illegals to be a drain on the state economy. Nevermind... it's easier just to tax the heck out of the LAW ABIDING citizens...

Do you just assume all Hispanic citizens are "illegals", or do you have some fool proof method of knowing who isn't a legal citizen? If it's the latter, I'm sure the US government would love if you shared it with them.

It's called profiling. Guess what, it works.
A large majority of illegals in the area are hispanic. So, it would logically follow that you should focus your attention on hispanics...
Unfortunately, the brain-washed liberals think that it's unfair to profile, and so you end up with the TSA strip searching 90 year old ladies in wheelchairs at airports instead of mid 20's muslim extremists...

Perhaps out in western MD...but then again, they are there whenever there is construction/urban sprawl/developments.
