With barely three months left in his tenure, voters in heavily Democratic Maryland have grown weary of Martin O’Malley, their liberal-policy-embracing, tax-raising and guitar-slinging governor, and show markedly little enthusiasm for a presidential bid he is preparing to launch.

O’Malley’s job-approval rating has fallen to an eight-year low of 41 percent, with his biggest defections coming from fellow Democrats, while Hillary Rodham Clinton dominates the 2016 landscape even in O’Malley’s home state, a new Washington Post-University of Maryland poll has found.
As O

40 tax increases later, Marylander's appear to finally have woken up from their apathetic slumber. Democrats are defecting from Martin O'Malley, which simply cannot bode well for Democratic Gubernatorial candidate - and O'Malley Flunkie - Anthony Brown.

Marylander's FINALLY disapprove of Martin O'Malley's governorship, which is stunning reversal from the same Washington Post/University of Maryland Poll in February 2014 showing his approval at 54%.

The only questions that needs to be asked at this point are: What the heck took Marylander's so long to realize that liberal tax and spend policies are bad for the State and bad for the nation?

The next question would be: Why in the heck would you vote for Martin O'Malley Jr. - Anthony "Same Ole, Same Ole" Brown?

Yet, the same people who voted for him twice are going to inflict the state with Anthony Brown. The electorate in this state is awful.

You are absolutely right.

However, I do believe that Larry Hogan has a fighting chance. On many of the social outlets I frequent, there are Democrats who will vote for Hogan because of the terrible O'Malley years and the threat of a repeat by Anthony Brown. The debates have also shown that Hogan is the superior candidate to the used car salesman/State Farm Agent Anthony Brown. Brown is flailing...the question is whether there's enough time for Marylander's to change their mind.

IMHO: MD really really needs Larry Hogan to win and hope he does so!

I approve 110%

And yes let Obama visit more often as it will plummet support for the Dem and help elect Hogan.

It's about time people finally wise up.

Want to know what's even scarier? O'malley as president (or even VP). Although I heard on the radio that only 1 in 6 Marylanders would vote for him if he ran.

Yay! Rain taxes and mileage taxes for the whole country.

Is Larry Hogan closing the gap in the polls after the debates? That would be good sign!

Obama makes rare campaign trail appearance, people leave early

Sorry, your messiah and his flunkies Brown couldn't even hold the attention of Democrats!

How embarrassing!

Hilarious! Brown is a clown. Anyone who votes for an O'Malley third term is insane or on government cheese. No sane taxpayer could want it.

How very relevant, the poll numbers of a man who will be out of elected life in 4 months. Is the next poll going to be most popular actors of 1948?
