I'd vote for Webb.
Either him or Bernie Sanders.

Maybe they could team up?

O'Malley is only taking a page out of the "House of Cards" playbook, where The Kevin Spacey Character got a woman to run against him, promising to drop out and throw her support behind Spacey's character. His being there may be keeping Warren from entering the race.

If Hillary starts falling way behind because of her problems, O'Malley might have a chance. At the very least he is campaigning for a VP nod.

Their ages next year, Webb will be 71, Sanders 75, isn't an issue for you?

So McCain's age wasn't an issue for you I take it.

As for me, NO one's age is an issue. ANY one could trip and fall in a heartbeat.
Heck Bush 2, choked on a chicken bone and went down....and didn't Hillary fall and hit her head.

I don't care if someone is 80 and runs...if they have the right VP in place.
McCain HAD my vote and LOST it when he picked Sarah Palin as his running mate. Shows a lack of judgement I just couldn't support. IF anything had happened to him, SHE'D have been pres.....are you kidding me. That's what I mean by it showed a side of him I couldn't support.

I think voters don't THINK BEYOND the office they're voting for. Governors pick Senator replacements. Sooooo, guess what...you have a Repub. Senator or House member, but a Dem governor...you think the gov will appoint a Repub because the lawmaker who died or resigned was a Repub, and that's who the PEOPLE voted in? Think again. That Dem. governor will put a Dem in that congressional seat. And once that person is in as an incumbent, it will be harder to get out...and make that seat Repub. again.

You think Dem and Repub president will appoint the same kind of Supreme Court justices? I don't think so.

People need to THINK, BEYOND just the election at a hand.

And you felt more comfortable having Joe Biden as second in command?

^^ Have I said I voted for his main opponent? (who ultimately won)

Of course you could argue that by not voting for McCain, that non-vote, was a de facto vote for the other guy. But I don't think I said how I DID vote. Just saying

I'd rather pick a dude who randomly says crazy things over a lady who consistently thinks crazy things.

It will never happen. Webb is a blue dog. Sanders is a socialist.

Jim Webb is the only presidential hopeful on the Dem side I'd ever consider pulling the lever for, but Sanders would be a complete deal-breaker for me.

One Democrat I'd definitely actively campaign for is Sheriff David Clarke if only he would run.

As long as neither of them are running I plan on voting for whoever runs against the Dem nominee and voting for the weakest Dem candidate in the primary.

I would love nothing more than to see Martin O'Malley win the Democratic nomination!! He'd get steamrolled in a general election!
