"Why are Marylanders so ignorant and backwards with all these blue ribbon schools?!"

If I am "tripping", why are people responding to this post with so much vigor and venom??!!!
The person clearly misusing the word "litany" is the one calling the rest of us ignorant and backwards?

It's like if Kim Kardasian had a kid with Mike Tyson. All the attention seeking behavior of the former, and the humorous misuse of SAT words in an attempt to sound eloquent of the later.

I don't think so!!!!

Litany:

noun lit·a·ny \ˈli-tə-nē, ˈlit-nē\
: a prayer in a Christian church service in which the people at the service respond to lines spoken by the person who is leading the service
: a long list of complaints, problems, etc.

**I'm using the second definition, so my statement is valid. Sorry to bust your bubble. Lol!

Is English your first language? Trust me, you don't want to stand behind "litany of truth." You're sounding like a complete fool. Have a nice day.

And the idiom is "burst your bubble," fyi. Bubbles don't exactly "bust."

For someone who recently played grammar nanny towards another poster, your posts certainly are riddled with grammatical errors...
