That's not here. I was at some fair on the PA New York State Line in July 20 years ago and needed a light jacket.

Even in northern Maine it's really not cold enough yet to have that storm have much impact.

Although I do remember a couple World Series games in Pittsburgh (yeah, I know it's hard to connect World Series Pirates in the same sentence) against Baltimore (oops, there I went and did it again) where it snowed. I think that was 1979, maybe.

Superstorm Sandy dumped 18 inches of snow in Garrett County right about this time of year. It isn't too early for it to snow....

I've watched Direct Weather's forecasts for about a year. He's a pretty good forecaster. I look forward to see if his predictions come true for the upper northeast.

Looks more and more like a Great Lakes Cutter. The flow is too far to the west for us. It had a shot but it was not to be.

That graphic was awesome. Such strange weather, on Thursday as that front came through it was still really warm. Then it turned to November overnight.

I like the change of seasons, I love snow. But i much prefer warm sunny weather. October was a blessing and will make this winter appear shorter.

Speaking of snow, keep an eye out for November 8-9. If the atmosphere lines up, we could see our first snowstorm that early. I would bet against it, but you never know.

Map below basically shows the question that needs answering in order to make an accurate prediction.

Yeah, Wunderground has some very light snow for the 8th in the morning forecasted. Thursday night into Friday could be a mess.

(Can never get enough nice weather on this ****ty continent!)
