Move to the Eastern Shore with a security clearance? (Annapolis: living, cost of living)

I have a TS clearance and looking to move to the Eastern Shore. Is there much use for a clearance? Looking to relocate just past Cambridge, MD.

Possible areas I know of would be Wallops Island, VA and Dover, DE.

Any thoughts or direct messages would be much appreciated!

I think it might be best to live closer to Washington DC with a Clearance. Majority of It jobs are located close or in DC.

Tons from Annapolis up to Fort Meade and into DC, but over the bridge not so much. Also quite a few in Southern Maryland (PAX River).

Thanks for the replies so far.

Currently live outside of DC, which is where I obtained my clearance. Wife and I had a tough decision to move back home, and closer to family (not to mention the lower cost of living) but I know that continuing the use of the clearance could be harder.

Was hoping that Wallops and/or Dover AFB would produce but after some vacancy searches it doesn't look to have a lot... currently.

Appreciate any thoughts.
