Hi,
I am new to MD I am looking to rent a social room or hall for my daughters Birthday. I want to be able to bring my own food. I don't want a Bounce place or Churcke e cheesse just a blank canvas so to speak to create her Princess party.

Any suggestions???

Many of the Volunteer fire depts have hall rentals. I do not what the terms would be. Let your fingers do the walking. Call the stations, the members there should be able to put you in touch with the right people.
Good luck.

You can also look at most churches and social organizations like Moose Lodge, Knights of Columbus etc.. Most counties have facilities they rent out too.

Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad has a large room upstairs. It's on the corner of Old Georgetown Road and Battery Lane.

Try the local VFW or Knights of Columbus. They are very popular places to rent for any event. The Columbus Gardens is a very nice venue it is a Knights of Columbus venue.

I think her budget for her young daughter's (think Chuck-E-Cheese here) birthday party was a bit lower than that. Catering not needed.
