Hi all!!

I am traveling to Boston later this month and I am having a hard time digging up information about daily parking around T stops...

The MBTA website mentions some paid parking available at some T stops, then lists a very low percentage of spaces available.

Do most stops have off street parking?

In particular, Wellington/ Sullivan Square area on the Orange line. Both say they offer paid parking (which is fine), but I wonder if all the spots would be filled by commuters, if we go around 10am...

Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks

Hi,
Most orange line stops do NOT have paid parking. Wellington has a huge lot but I have no idea what time it fills.

Thanks for the info!

Anyone know about the Green Line? Good stations with large lots?

Thanks again!

Default Green Line

Hi,
The MBTA D Line has a couple garages. Riverside has a huge lot; not sure if it fills. If you're travelling on a weekend, my guess is there'd be plenty of open spaces, as it would mostly be occupied by commuters. Woodland Hills also has a big garage. The MBTA's website indicates that the lots have 10-20% of spaces open during weekdays, so you should be okay. FYI that it's about 30-40 minutes to downtown Boston via the train/trolley from those stations.

There are a few large garages in downtown Malden, across from the Malden Center stop on the Orange. They could be a back up plan if Wellington is full.

Actually, Oak Grove on the Orange Line fills up first (usually by 7:10 AM), then Malden Center. Wellington always has spots.
