I need help from the good people of CD! Have had it with Verizon as a phone service....I use to have a long distance plan through I think Telecom or something like that but Verizon offered a deal bundle plan and I fell for it....regrets now! enough of my little rant
We have a land line phone, do not want MajicJack or one that goes thru the computer. So what service to you have, how much is basic with long distance calling, you monthly charge...thanks so much

What internet service do you have? If its cable, they should offer phone service as well, which generally includes long distance in the US/Canada in the monthly fee.

do you call LD alot if not check out quest for 5 cents per minute. If you are not a heavy user
ATandT has a pay as you go cell phone where you pay around 2.00 per day with no cap on calls
for Long distance. However depends if you can a good signal.

You might look into Google Voice. It's a nifty service. I haven't used it but have heard good things!

Have you tried Spot Talk? They give you an access code to dial and then you dial your LD number. I used it in WMass and when I moved to EMass I called and got a new access code to use around here. I can't call anywhere except the town I live in so it saves a lot of money.
It's great and cheap. Look on their website.
