Wondering which part of Mass. is best for the following:

1. House prices $250k range and..
2. Nice CRIME FREE neighborhoods
3. Tree Lined Streets
4. Short commute or even Walk to quaint New England town
5. Taxes UNDER 4k

Any suggestions are worth weight in gold!

1. Not much of a house in Sturbridge, but you can find one
2. Sturbridge has little crime especially away from rt 84 area
3. yes has that
4. commute to what job? I walk almost everyday in this quaint town
5. We pay 4k in taxes on a house assessed at 311k

that's what I got for you

Jewel, There are quite a few nice towns around here like charlton,brimfield or of course Auburn (further east). What kind of work do you do?...Nurse? Attorney? Social worker?....Self employed?
