Just curious to see what everyone is paying around the commonwealth for gas.
Here in West Springfield I paid $4.01 for regular unleaded today. I was in Sutton on Saturday and paid $3.93.

I am very interested to see what the rest of state is paying.

$3.85 in Billerica (but paid $3.80 because of Cumberland Farms' SmartPay app!).

By the way, are folks familiar with GasBuddy? http://www.gasbuddy.com

Gas Buddy for andriod/iOS is great. Because of that I paid $4.09 for premium just west of Worcester in Cherry Valley (? I didn't know there was a town between Worcester and Leicester?) on Saturday, instead of 4.15-4.20 in Leicester or Worcester

Regular seems to be around $4/gallon in these parts. There's one Mobil station in the center of town here though that charges 40-50 cents more per gallon than any station around. I don't know who goes there. There's another station a block away that's much more in line with average prices.

Another note, diesel prices are $7.10 a gallon and it takes about $140 to fill my station wagon.

I'm originally from Montreal (Canada) and my family and friends who are there are telling me the same thing -- about $7/gallon. Brutal.

That said, when I first moved to the U.S., in 2005, we all thought $1.75/gallon was crazy. Oh, how the times have changed.

I think that I saw gas at $3.93/gallon in Worcester (west side) the other day.

gas buddy rocks!

one of the cheapest gas places in our area (Natick / Wellesley) is the station at the corner of rt 9 and weston rd. The best rate is yours if you pay cash though. But even with the card it's cheaper than others (I think it is 3.79 w/ card for now)

What I find amazing is how quickly the cost of gas increased in the last 5-6 years. When I first started driving 20 years about premium gas was $1.25/gallon. Over the next 15 years premium gas maybe went up to $1.99/gallon at most. Now if I'm luck I pay $4.09/gallon for premium.

Cheapest gas in this area BTW is the Stop & Shop station on Rt. 1 in Dedham. Cash or credit same price.
