Good luck to you. Here, however, you need more than luck. You need wealthy parents and undeserved wealth to make it.

Your stunning generalization is just....stunning!

I am basically liberal, and we got nothing from our parents except the great opportunity to receive a very good education and a peaceful home life to stay focused. We bought a house just 25 min by T from DTX. We are in our thirties....we received no monetary help from our parents either. And did I say we are liberal minded, except that I think we may be going too far with the illegal children getting housed in this state?

I agree that it would most likely be difficult for the OP to get exactly what she described, but also she never specified exactly what ethnicities her kids were. Tough to recommend a town.

I disagree with your post JSJ, and I am not even a typical Mass liberal.

The concept of rejection as described in your post is really hard to grasp or it is subjective at best. You seem allude to the fact that even if the OP manages to get herself to her desired neighborhood she would never be accepted by her neighbors because she doesn't belong somehow. Is that a possibility? yes, of course. Is that the norm? I doubt it. You seem to be holding a grudge that is based on a previous experience but I would caution you to avoid spreading your experience as what someone is most likely to encounter when moving to MA. Granted, MA is not the most friendliest of states but that is not because there's bad people here but as another person posted, people mind their own business and never go out of their way to be "friendly".
