That's Beauport in Gloucester, built by a grandson of former Boston mayor and one the founders of Boston University, Henry Davis Sleeper, who became an amateur interior designer. It is located in Eastern Point, were wealthy Bostonians built their summer houses in the 19th century. He kept remodeling the house over 27 years making a lot of additions along the way.

It just closed for the season and will reopen in June!

Holy Moly!v I didn't know Beauport was anything like that! You really can't tell just by driving past! Thanks for posting those pictures, konfetka! I might never have known! I'll hafta check it out next spring!

I should've gotten up earlier on Sunday to take pictures of the snow; I wasn't expecting the sun to come out as early as it did.
