It's hard to imagine topless women going after children.

But of course, if a person, man or woman wants to wear a top, they're free too. Heck, most men should with all the fast food most seem to eat. But that's freedom. It's not all pretty.

There just isn't any biological reason for the discrepancy.

Not only that, but the whole uproar bears too much resemblance to the camp which blames women's appearance and attire as being too "provocative" for men's base instincts. Rather than acknowledging that the women are simply exercising choice.

Oh there is a lot of that mindset on this forum.

Generally I believe these people are really perverted. They just can't imagine most people aren't. They view the world through their degenerate glasses. Sad.

Now that is just sheer ignorance.

You think kids should have unfetterred access to porn? What on earth is going on in this thread. Never realized such creepy perverted ideas could become mainstream.

Htfdcolt said that kids generally have unfettered access to porn. That’s not opinion. It’s a fact. How do you propose to change that? It’s not like any mildly computer literate 12 year old can’t trivially bypass parental controls. Not that most parents are tech literate enough to know how to set up parental controls.

We were in Miami Beach a few weeks ago where toplessness is allowed and pretty normal. Everyone, even the kids, seemed to manage OK. The idea that children are somehow going to be harmed by possibly seeing breasts is beyond silly. The notion that breasts are the same as genitals is even sillier. But hey, I guess people have to find reasons to be outraged.

Sooo many newborn human children have had their lives ruined by being introduced to female breasts. Didn't you know that?

Nobody ever said they were the same thing. And most of the people doing that in Miami Beach were probably Europeans. Very different culture. I realize those things shouldn't matter, but they really do.

All the more reason why a 12 year old's online access needs to be limited. But it's quite different when something remains a taboo (knowing kids will be kids still) and the adults in their life are setting an example, vs. "normalizing" a behavior.
