Look at what parts of the policy are changing the most. I think the issue is collision and comprehensive. With the value of new and used cars so high, the cost to repair or replace them has increased dramatically.

I'm not sure what the OP's comment had to do with illegals? But since you went there, yes, in many cases, damn illegals. They cost the state and the country a lot. They take up a lot of space too.

Auto insurance companies took a hit at the start of the pandemic with normal commuters switching to telework and driving less. My insurance went down around that time. They're probably surcharging now to make back some of the lost profits.

There are so many around I'm surprised you can even get out of your door to even make it to your car!

Well, funny enough you're not 100% wrong - keeping the money printing press going brrrrrr to keep what's probably well over ten million illegals fed, clothed and housed makes that $300 buy you what $100 used to buy.

Glad everyone is so happy to have the illegals in MA. You should volunteer to have more money taken out of your paycheck to help them.

Get an electric vehicle, insurance rates might be much less for those soon enough as folks will be parked more often than on the road due to deteriorated grids/frequent power outages and not being able to charge up! Crazy that there's such a big push for electrified vehicles when our infrastructure won't be able to support it. I'm sure not limited to Groton but just an example.....https://www.cbsnews.com/boston/news/...ckouts-winter/
