Robert Duvall wants to do that??? My goodness! Why would such an accomplished actor - who delivered riveting performances in such memorable films as The Godfather and Apocalypse Now -- care about driver's licenses in Massachusetts?

Oh, wait, wait...perhaps you mean the Governor of Massachusetts, Deval Patrick.

I know that's what I heard that the other day, when me and my liberal friends were sitting around aborting babies and signing up dead people to vote and giving pimps tax breaks through ACORN... you know, just your average Sunday afternoon... We were discussing how better to make guns illegal and it happened to come up.
My buddy Che was telling me at my Young American Communists meeting later that same night, that we've almost succeded in taking over the entire government. We've also begun letting Nazis in. I think it's the formation of a whole new political party "Communazisocialisim".

I'm excited to be a part of it.

I am in Houston, so I'm wondering if my perspective on things is different. I dont imagine that Boston has quite the illegal hispanic population that Houston does, but maybe there are illegals from other countries?

My coworker says a good way to measure the amount of illegals in your area is based on the ease of finding some guys willing to brick your front porch for a case of beer.

The population if illegal immigrants here is very small compared to Texas. Some, yes. But not that many. There is a decent sized Latino population in the area of mixed national origin -- Mexican, Central American, Colombia, Dominican, Puerto Rican. Most are legal, of course. The Providence area has a pretty sizable Latino population.

Southern New England also has a large population of Portuguese who are considered "white" for U.S. census purposes though often have significant shared economic, political, and social interests with Latinos (along with somewhat similar demographics and SES profiles). Based upon physicial appearance many of these Portuguese would easily be mistaken in other parts of the country as being of Latino and/or Mexican origin though, again, they are european and thus considered "white."

Thinking - in this rotten economy it'd still cost a damn fortune to brick my front porch! Read: not a problem compared to other states and not really on the day-to-day radar as an issue for most. I also don't think we have 50 cent anything....a dunkin donut will set you back a good 85 cents

Well to be honest good breakfast tacos (eggs, cheese, chorizo on flour) are about 99 cents each.
I wouldn't eat a 50 cent one. 1.75 for a good taco. mmm

a buck for tamales, if you buy them as singles. get a dozen for like $7.
