Most Dangerous City In Bay State Named - Boston News Story - WCVB Boston (http://www.thebostonchannel.com/r/10194601/detail.html - broken link)

There were too many links in a little thing called google. It was the first link. I figured I would just post the one referenced from the FBI. I also realize this is from 2006, but since you asked using the term "ever", there you go. Things have actually become worse in Springfield since then. So, yes, I'll say it again: Worcester, hands down, in every category...not that's it's saying much.

I suppose you could say Springfield has larger suburbs. Yes, this is true. Let's face it, though. As far as desirability would most people want to live in Chicopee and Holyoke vs. Shrewsbury, Westboro and Holden? I think not. Sorry to come across as arrogant, but I'm just being realistic.
