So funny how trolls & Miserables have nothing to source or back up. Just "The city is crumbling", "Atlanta citizens laugh at Memphians", "90% of Memphis has been destroyed" "We're all going to die, arrrggghhh!!!". Besides local smut media focusing on random acts of violence, Memphis is making progress.

"Talk" is backed up by observation, and objectivity to the facts about Memphis....

and opinions, are just that...based on personal experiences

and my opinion is that Memphis, TN is STILL far far far behind, but if you've never lived anywhere else for any length of time you would not know any better..

also, if you are not in a position of having BEEN around Memphis for many many years (not just say 5 or 7) you would NOT be in a position to fully recognize the OBVIOUS decline on a continuum (years)

People that have actually LIVED in the area will readily acknowledge Memphis' fall (over time)

it's irrefutable to any professional who has lived here with his damn eyes open

it is what it is.....

I don't pretend......about ANY city

Would you like me to drive back down Winchester and take about 50 pictures and post them here? I've lived in this area for 55 years and I have the power of observation...and my opinion.

Nothing to back it up? What about stats on the MCS, crime, tax base leaving, property values plummenting, a totally corrupt government for the last 18 years. What else do you want?

Bluff City Kool-Aid is so tasty on a steamy July day, isn't it, Johnny?

Memphis' worst enemy is its own citizenry. Think positive and be positive. And even if you're the most diehard realist out there, understand that reality is what you make it.

Stop thinking in terms of what Memphis is and start thinking in terms of what Memphis can be. I think that was the intent of the first post.
