I’ve never had anxiety issues my whole life. The only time I have was when I thought I was going to lose my job, and it would always be sleeping problems. Now I’m all of the sudden getting nighttime anxiety for no good reason. My job is not at risk, but it’s just been getting busier. And I’ll somerimes feel anxious at work if I have too much to do. It today wasn’t busy and I’m feeling anxiety now.

So now I’ve been getting anxiety at bedtime. Both going to sleep and waking up hours early and having trouble staying asleep. I don’t like it at all. I feel like crap at work and it makes my night long, when I used to feel recharged. I’m not sure what to do or how long it will last. Can anyone relate, and is there anything I can do?

Look in to why you feel more overwhelmed at work. Are you really "busier" or is it a time management problem? Have you discussed this with your supervisor? There may be ways to adjust or re-assign some of your job tasks. There may be things that you don't need to be doing. Do you feel more stressed because you don't know how to do some of your tasks well? Training might ease some of that.

The most important thing is not to worry about it and let it be. Otherwise you will develop even more anxiety surrounding not sleeping making matters worse. It will pass. Do not care if you sleep or don't sleep and do not care if you are tired the next day. This way you will not add to the anxiety surrounding work by piling anxiety surrounding sleep onto it.

Try doing some exercise after work to relieve some of that pent up stress in your system. You could try running a few miles. Avoid alcohol too as that is known for disrupting sleep and increasing anxiety.

Are you sure that your anxiety attacks are work related? If they come from nowhere (you aren't worried about your job) then they are more likely to be panic attacks.
Anxiety attacks are usually result of prolonged worries about something in particular.
Panic attacks can often appear to be triggered by nothing at all.
