Is it going to upset your brother to see your parents crying?
I would imagine so. I misspoke though. I don’t think my dad will cry. Hopefully my mother can wait to start crying until she gets out to the car.

When my mother would even pretend to cry jokingly (like if my bro took something of hers away), he’d shake his head and try to take her hand away from her face. He certainly doesn’t need her really crying on move-in day.

Speak to family members of other people where your brother s going and see if talking to them would give you better insight and help. Hearing that your issues are the same as others is the best way to calm ourselves down.
