Quoted from Autism Speaks, In the News, Current News, IAN Research Findings: Children with ASDs Have Different Weight, Height Profile Than Typical Peers:

Please Note: These Findings Are Preliminary
The analysis presented here by the Interactive Autism Network (IAN) is preliminary. It is based on information submitted over the internet by parents of children with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) from the United States who choose to participate. The data have not been peer reviewed -- that is, undergone evaluation by researchers expert in a particular field -- or been submitted for publication.

I'm still trying to figure out why this thread was created in the Relationships Forum?

The "studies" you posted didn't evaluate the parents' heights, only the children with ASDs.

*shrugs* - Whatever makes you feel better, shortguy.

Even if the claim that people with Autism as a group tend to be taller and/or weigh more than the general population, turns out to be true, it does NOT mean that taller and/or heavier people are more likely to have Autism.

Then I guess the mother must be getting her sperm from the mailman?

Time to test DNA. This probably explains why a link couldn't be found sooner.

I'm not getting where you are going with this.

Just because a parent is tall doesn't guarantee their children will be tall (nor have an ASD), which is what the OP is insinuating.

Yes, because all us mothers are sleeping around.
