This government has managed to attract billionary investments even with the current crisis going on, the recent devaluation of the Mexican peso has also made this country more attractive, specially against those countries whose currencies have appreciated like Japan or the United States.
most people unrealistically things that the road to a first world, modern and prosperous Mexico is around the corner, but patience, hard work and an undefeatable will is required, this change should begin on every citizen individually, and not just rest on the hands of the government.
I believe if the government we have now has improved, it is also because us the citizens have improved as well.
Thought this was interesting as i was reading on a science forum on the web and they were talking about Monterrey Tech which is the MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) of mexico and how scientists there in mexico just created nerve cells from skin stem cells as it's good to see mexico become more high tech.

El Tec de Monterrey is considered one of Mexico's top private Universities, all the teachers have PhD's and the facilities are very very high tech, they have campuses in most of the main cities of Mexico.
here is the webpage in english if someone wants to check it out.
I believe there are at least two technology schools in the Vallarta area; one in La Cruz and the other in Nuevo Vallarta. We were quite impressed to see this focus on tech education in our area - and apparently, in many other areas of Mexico, too. How wise and prescient of the Calderon government to concentrate on and solidly address this form of education for its children.
While the US falls way behind in math and science education, Mexico seems to be moving ahead.
Yes, impressive!
maybe your citys president or someone can do something about it!
