Right now, all cash-strapped local and state governments are doing everything they can to keep the police employed, but their days of reckoning are coming as well. And our prisons, lapping up $50k a year per prisoner? Along with pay cuts for government employees. Then what?

What we fear happening in Mexico will one day consume us as well. Which is why so many Americans avoid 3rd world travel. It's all but an unappetizing picture of our future.

An excellent time to visit Mexico or Central America!
That we are on a path back to our historic corruption is your opinion. I think the US has some problems yes.. but we are proactive in solutions not reactive. We are getting better, and I see that in my community. The prison problem is a reflection of our justice system. Be involved, and you will get support in the US, be involved in Mexico and you will fear for your life....

I do not fear, or wish to spread it.... I just want change.
