What we fear happening in Mexico will one day consume us as well. Which is why so many Americans avoid 3rd world travel. It's all but an unappetizing picture of our future.

That we are on a path back to our historic corruption is your opinion. I think the US has some problems yes.. but we are proactive in solutions not reactive. We are getting better, and I see that in my community. The prison problem is a reflection of our justice system. Be involved, and you will get support in the US, be involved in Mexico and you will fear for your life....
