north of the design district. Do you know where that is?

downtown > midtown > design district > little haiti

I am terrible with street names but if you start downtown miami and take N. Miami ave straight up or is it 2nd. one of those two. Take them noth from Downtown miami and you will pass through actually i think you will go through overtown > midtown > design district > little haiti.

Hope that helps.

it's mostly haitian with some cubans, 90/10 sound about right.

check out churchills pub in little haiti. it's basically the only real dive bar in town, but many national and local acts perform there and they have a different night every week. college kids go there on mondays if i'm not mistaken for jazz night.

the area surrounding churchills is absolutely crime-ridden and people do sometimes pretend to be parking lot attendants and try to hustle money out of you, but you don't have to give in and you can park right in front of the door. the door guy has been there forever, as for most of the staff, and they're pretty tough / cool.

there's a gem everywhere in this city.
