great/affordable cities to live in while attending mdc
im looking for names of cities near mdc(all campuses) to search for a great area and affordable place(perferable:house) for a college student(s)
and im wondering if u may have some suggestions or ideas for me!!
i wouldnt mind commuting(a 1hr or less) if the area is desent and affordable
so if u know of anything please let me know!!!

Well it really depends what campus youre going to go to. Some campuses are not in the best of areas, like near downtown. Will it be just you renting or will you have room mates? Housing in Miami is pretty pricey, but again, depends on what area you want.

i was really considering the kendall campus...yes it will just be me for now...do u have any cities in mind that have desent and affordable houses rent for a college student...i really perfer to pay at the max 1200 for a house rental until i can find roommate..so can u give me the names of the cities u think will fit what im lookin for so i can search the house rental ad's
and the commuting isnt a problem..

In your price range you will find a two bedroom apartment at best. Great and affordable cities is an oxymoron in Miami.

Yup. You wont find a house in a decent neighborhood for that price anywhere here. You could find an apartment or condo for that price, or maybe a townhouse down in homestead. But not much else in a safe area. Homestead is about 1/2 an hour from Kendall, without traffic of course. But you really have to look into to it, it has some very sketchy neighborhoods.
Have you considered going to BCC instead? Broward has much nicer cities with pretty much the same activities as Dade.
