The hotel used to be The Tempo and was managed by RockResorts. They recently ended their affiliation with the property. I'm not sure if that has caused the issues (new reservation system had to be implemented, maybe some employees left, etc) but it's possible.

Your strategy of staying in the buildings is a good one, though.

I'll just mention: see my links above- there are far more buildings (and better ones) in Miami than 900 Biscayne and Marquis

Paramount Bay is very nice. Very expensive, but nice. It's also very far north, at least IMO.

Personally I think there's better value in some other buildings.

I know you want to be near Museum Park, but really if you're down in Brickell it's only a short Metromover ride away.

I would check out Icon, Infinity, or Brickell on the River South.

I did visit icon, too many units, too crowded.
Also a building in brickell key, it's nice but only riverview
My number one criteria is a full ocean view and under 700k, that is why brickell is out.

But thanks alot for your recomendations

Update on Casa Moderna, met with the front of manager, and turns out their front office staff failed to communicate the problem to him. He was very apologetic and took care of everything. General Manager called as well and apologized. I believe its an isolated incident to poor staff performance, and now I have better confidence in the hotel and the building.
