Actually that house isn't accurate because it isn't painted bright orange and it doesn't have burglar bars on it.

Wow and some people think I am a Miami hater! Things are not getting any worse in Miami and may be getting better. I see fewer county cars on the road, and have heard less about Team Metro / NCO activity as of late. The home prices are starting to fall, and hurricane season this year looks less risky. Perhaps the next wave of mortgage resets will be met by higher interest rates thanks to bond vigilantes. If interest rates increase significantly, it will be like flushing the toilet and expel a lot of homebuyers since 2002. As for schools, they are bad everywhere so who cares.

Hey tough guy I hear you complaining, but I don't see you moving anywhere else. At the end of the day, Miami, like all big cities has pros and cons, but their are very few cities that are better to live in and those are more expenisive and much colder.
