Just wondering if you are still a fan of the dolphins, heat, marlins....I'm assuming you moved away because you hated Miami...just wondering if the disgust has caused you to dislike the sports teams as well?

1. Yes, I do follow Miami sports, ie; football, baseball, basketball, soccer, etc.

2. Nope, You're assuming wrong.
Some of us have moved away from Miami due to career (myself), studies, etc.

PS: returning to S. Florida upon retirement.

What people are you referring to who moved away? I am a Dolphins and Marlins fan. I'm not into basketball too much, but if I root for one team its the Heat. In college football I'm a Noles fan obviously. I love South FL including the sports. I never want to move away. Oh yeah, I'm white Caucasian too. Imagine that.

I'm a big time heat and marlins fan. I moved for school, moving back as soon as I'm done. I know there are a lot of Miami Haters living in Miami; They just need to get out. Go Marlins Go heat.

I like your posts as they are usually entertaining and positive ... but a "white caucasian "is redundant as there can be no other type of caucasian ... when you find a black one call me as I would like to see that .... anyhow I am a "white caucasian " who maybe does not "love" South Florida but does like it a whole lot especially the North Palm Beach County - South Martin County areas , where I currently live Parkland and where I used to live Weston ..... yikes I even think Miami has its cool areas and bright spots !!!

I have many friends who have moved either to other parts of Florida or out of state and they continue to be die hard South Florida sports fans ... a former neighbor now lives in Tampa and is a hardcore Dolphin and UM fan despite being vastly outnumbered by Bucs and Gator fans in his neighborhood . I do not think leaving a particular region will cause you to desert your sports teams .

I see your point with "white caucasian". I suppose I could have said "white, non-Hispanic" instead but that also leaves a margin for error. My point is that I often hear the "if you are caucasian why would you want to live in South FL?". I am simply saying that there are people who live in South FL who are caucasian who are South FL sports fans.
