Furniture stores?
I am coming to Miami in less than 10 days now, and will be staying for at least 5 years. I found a nice apartment on Key Biscayne, and now I am looking for some furniture.
I really like those of IKEA, although they do home deliveries for $75, which may be a lot if I don't buy all at once. Could you recommend any furniture stores that do free home deliveries? If not, what furniture stores close to Key Biscayne would you recommend (Brickell, Coral Gables, Grove..) ? I am looking for new furniture, less classic, and more simple/modern. The price range of IKEA suits me well, so I'm not looking for anyhing near expensive. Also, I will probably not stay longer than 5 years, so long-lasting quality is not necessary.
Also, what would be the best place to get a good, firm mattress?

Since you like IKEA's stuff, just go there. Theres one in Broward, just take a pickup truck or something and get everything you need in one trip.

I suggest you research the brands and maybe try to find the best price on a particular brand. If you don't have problems with your current mattress maybe check that brand and buy it. Also check return policy which is usually a pain, sometimes you don't know a mattress until you have slept there for a least a week. One time I had a mattress that almost left me paralyzed, not kidding, the pain wouldn't let me sleep and I even had to take sleeping pills which I never done in my life. I still daydream about burning that mattress in my backyard, and it was a "good brand"

I really like the furniture from American Signature Furniture. The do, however, charge a delivery fee around $100 or so (which is unfortunate). I've been told that these things in miami can be negotiated, but I've never tried.

Don't buy any furniture from IKEA. The quality is lousy!

I believe that you can find an answer on this site: Traditional Persian & Oriental Rugs Store in Toronto & New Jersey
I strongly recommend it. Though it 's not considered... "cheap" it sells nice, fancy furniture and most of all: they are RELIABLE. I never had problems buying from them.
All the luck

Are you kidding me pal? Ikea is far superior to City Furniture or Rooms To Go and far more affordable.
