...that just feels like home? I've only been there once in my life, but I swear it felt like I had been there for a while.

Has anyone, either native or transplant, ever felt like that?

I feel at home in Miami too. I grew up in Homestead and feel like it's part of me.

Same here. Even though I have lived in Tampa for the last 12 years, I still refer to Miami and partcularly Homestead and Cutler Ridge as home. Someday I hope to go/come home.

Some of you all need to lighten up, it was a JOKE!!!! Miami isn't exactly known for being friendly, so for someone to feel connected to such a fast paced, aggressive and angry place after visiting is kind of strange. That is all I was implying. But hey if you identify with that as "home" so be it.
