President Reagan declared July as National Ice Cream month back in the early 1980's , so eat as much of your favorite ice cream(s) as you can this month . Myself have been in training for 11 months , and so far this month I have been scarfing down impressive amounts of frozen delights

If you look at the Wiki for Blue Moon Ice Cream, the photo is of a cup of blue Moon at the Ludington House of Flavors.

House of Flavors was in South Lyon when I was a kid (hundreds of miles away from the present location). It is gone now, but I think that is where it came from. About 4% of my body is made up of Blue Moon.

Oh yeah, at least that percentage of my body as well. My grandparents lived right behind the House of Flavors and I would hate to guess how many scoops of Blue Moon I have consumed in my 48 years on this planet.

Ludington is the original House of Flavors and at one time they had a bunch of places throughout the State. Blue Moon was one of their original flavors before they changed the name from Park Dairy to HOF back in 64... shoot I think they had Blue Moon as a flavor before it was named Park Dairy and was still Millers Dairy back in the 40's.

Just to add one more place to the list, I used to get Schwan's ice cream when the truck made the rounds. Their coffee flavor was very good then they had one that I don't remember the name of but was similar in taste to Smores. However, the very best ice cream was always my own back when I had an old fashioned ice cream maker.

Like I posted earlier, you really can't say how it tastes for sure. You just have to try it. My personal favorite is the Blue Moon from House of Flavors in Ludington.
