Didn't get hardly any snow here. It went all the way around us. The map is showing 6"-8" but it all pretty much blew away as soon as it fell.

On Jan. 21, 2013 we had the honor of recording the coldest daily high since records have been kept ( 1961 ). The high was -3 which tied the record in 1963. I have lived up here for five years and this is the coldest I have seen.
Well, I have to tell you that it's our fault...whenever we move somewhere, they generally have winters the likes of which they haven't seen in decades, lol-

Anyone see the weather image this morning of lake Michigan? The Lake effect snow is going down the center of the lake, top to bottom today, headed for Gary/ Michigan City. It looks impressive, guess they could get several feet of white from this overnight !
