Once again, I'm considering Menominee. Kinda sorta. There's a lot of reasons. No worries about schools or jobs. We are independent in those respects.

I do have a few questions.

Is it safe for families?
Are there year round activities or sports for kids? What are some area attractions?
Good fishing? Are the marina fees reasonable?
How's the drive to Green Bay, really? We'd be going about once per week.
How are the local hospitals?
Are there any good health food stores or naturopaths?
How bikeable is it?

We found a house there that we want to talk to a realtor about. I think we are going to head up there next weekend to check it out.

i mean, i've never been to Menominee, but i would be absolutely shocked to learn that it's anything but completely safe. it's tiny. it's in the UP. it's almost in Wisconsin.

i really don't think you're going to be at the vanguard of naturopathy in Menominee, but:
